Liliana Shelbrook earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and went on to achieve a masters of arts in education. She worked as a journalist, and currently teachs writing at a major entertainment, arts, and media institution in Central Florida. Her novel, Lantern in the Mist, is the first book in a dramatic trilogy set in the early twentieth century created it to be an exciting series that traces the birth and growth of modern America through dynamic characters who represent our country’s history. Lantern in the Mist received awards for best historical fiction and western from Readers’ Favorite, eLit Awards, Global eBook awards, Indie Book of the Day, and Beverly Hills International Book Awards.
When Liliana is not teaching writing or writing historical fiction, you will find her laughing with her rat terrier, Miss Eadie. She also spends time reading for pleasure and riding her pink bicycle through her neighborhood. When it’s time for a treat, she rewards herself with a grilled cheese sandwich or with chocolate.
