Phillippe Diederich is an award-winning fiction writer and photojournalist. His short fiction has been published in numerous national literary journals including Quarterly West, Acentos Review, Burrow Press Review, The Wisconsin Review, High Desert Journal, Hobart and many others. He has been awarded the Chris O’Malley Prize for Fiction from the Madison Review and received an Elizabeth George Foundation Grant, a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship in Literature from the Florida Department of Cultural Affairs and a John Ringling Towers Grant in Literature from the Sarasota County Artist Alliance. His short stories have recieved four Pushcart nominations. His debut novel, Sofrito is published by Cinco Puntos Press. He is a Creative Writing instructor at Ringling College of Art and Design and is the editor-in-chief of Viva Fifty! a bilingual and bicultural online magazine. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida.
